ABOUT ME
I’m Kennedi Murray, and my story is shaped by movement, growing up in Singapore, being rooted in Thailand, and now building my life and education in New York City. Experiencing three completely different cultures has given me a global perspective and a deep curiosity about how people, systems, and industries operate across contexts. I’ve never been someone limited to a single lane, I’m drawn to fashion, law, real estate, finance, and the spaces where these worlds collide. What excites me most is the moment where structure meets creativity, where something isn’t working, and design becomes the tool to rethink it.
I’m fascinated by the places where systems break and where innovation has room to step in. Whether it’s reimagining financial access, reshaping creative industries, or challenging traditional business models, I love turning complex ideas into something clear, intentional, and impactful. My work is grounded in the belief that design isn't just visual, it’s strategic, transformative, and capable of shifting the rules we’ve inherited. I’m motivated by the desire to create opportunities, especially for people and industries that deserve more space, more visibility, and deeper recognition.
Currently immersed in the Strategic Design and Management program at Parsons, I’m developing the ability to move fluidly between creative practice and strategic problem-solving. My education has pushed me to think critically about systems, manage projects with clarity, and design with both purpose and empathy.
Here, you’ll find a collection of my work, from my early explorations in IB Visual Arts to the more complex, interdisciplinary projects I’ve created at Parsons. Each piece reflects my commitment to pushing creative boundaries and understanding how design, business, and culture can shape new futures.
